Background

I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and Doctor of Clinical Nutrition (DCN) with over 20 years of clinical experience, who is passionate about helping people improve their health through simple, realistic, and sustainable nutrition and lifestyle changes. In our sessions, you can expect a supportive, judgment-free space where we focus on practical strategies you can start using right away. My goal is to help you feel confident, informed, and empowered to make choices that genuinely support your well-being.

I specialize in providing nutrition counseling to promote health and wellness and prevent and manage chronic disease. As a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, I am an expert in providing medical nutrition therapy for those with diabetes or prediabetes, cardiometabolic conditions (including high blood pressure and heart disease), and those interested in weight management. If you’re looking to improve your relationship with food or gain the tools to manage a chronic condition, I’m here to guide you with an individualized, evidence-based approach.

Professionally, in addition to seeing clients in my private practice, I have spent much of my career in academic leadership (teaching dietitians!) and research. I’m also a board-certified specialist in gerontological nutrition and have published and presented extensively on varying topics in nutrition, health, and disease. These experiences allow me to translate complex nutrition science into clear, practical guidance that fits your real life.

Outside of work, I love cooking, walking, swimming, and spending time with family and friends. I find joy in preparing simple, flavorful meals and staying active in ways that feel enjoyable and sustainable—values I bring into my work with clients as well.

I became a dietitian because I believe nutrition has the power to transform how we feel and function, and I’m driven by the opportunity to help people make meaningful changes that improve their health, confidence, and quality of life. I look forward to supporting you on your journey.
