I have been in the nutritional services field over 30 years. My mother’s friend, Ann was a dietitian at our community hospital.
She assisted with me obtaining a foodservice aid position during highschool.
I attended Immaculata College and graduated with a degree in dietetics. I went to West Chester University
and completed a MSPH. I did my internship at Marywood University. My clinical rotation was at Saint Joseph’s Hospital in North Philadelphia. What a change from skilled care and rehab patients. I taught AID patients about food safety. JACHO was there and I participated in the Nutritional Services interview. My community nutrition rotation was completed at Chester County Department of Health. I assisted in the WIC program, helped planned educational programs for the community and prepared educational materials to be used. I am motivated, have experience , skills, outgoing personality and the desire to help the clients improve their health and quality of life with nutrition education.
"I enjoy working with people. I am not shy, have empathy, patience, compassion and I have a positive attitude. The clients find me reliable and caring. Working with other other healthcare members."
