Kristen Criscitelli, RD

I have been a registered dietitian nutritionist since 2010 and a certified lactation counselor since 2021. After completing my degree and internship through LI University, C.W.Post, I went on to receive my Masters in Nutrition from Columbia University.

Throughout my career I have worked in several large hospital systems throughout NYC, Long Island and Westchester, taking care of patients from birth through adulthood. During this time, I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings and was also introduced into the world of research. My diverse background has allowed me to care for people diagnosed with chronic diseases such as pre-diabetes and diabetes, cardiovascular disease, obesity, fatty liver, and metabolic syndrome, all of which greatly benefit from healthful dietary changes. I worked 1:1 with patients who were trying to get pregnant, those who needed to optimize their health during pregnancy and throughout lactation. Most recently, I worked in a pediatric clinic providing nutritional care for children undergoing transplants, those with failure to thrive and malnutrition, as well those with pediatric obesity.
