Kristen Criscitelli, RD

Hi! I have been a registered dietitian nutritionist since 2010, a certified lactation counselor since 2021 and in May of 2024, I completed the FARE Pediatric Food Allergy Certification. After finishing my undergraduate degree and internship at LI University, I went on to receive my Masters of Science in Nutrition from Columbia University.

I have a very diverse career, working in several large hospital systems throughout NY taking care of patients from birth through adulthood. I also had the opportunity to work in the field of research, which has given me a greater understanding of how to translate the ever-changing nutrition research in a less confusing way. Since being an RD, I have worked in maternal health and pediatrics as well as alongside clients of all ages helping them manage chronic metabolic diseases with food and nutrition.

I know that for many, feeding themselves (or their children) is really hard. Unfortunately, societal norms and SO MUCH misinformation play significant roles in making nutrition a lot harder than it has to be. My primary goal when working together is to take away all the stress and anxiety surrounding your food choices and help you feel confident, educated and free of guilt when feeding yourself and loved ones. Regardless of why you choose to work with me, my method is surprisingly simple. I provide you with the latest scientific information, personalized for your unique needs, while working through all the external and internal influences that determine your food choices.
