Jackie is a non-judgmental, empathetic, and science-driven registered dietitian and certified nutrition support clinician (CNSC) who aims to create a supportive and individualized space for every client. With a strong foundation in evidence-based practice, Jackie’s approach goes beyond one-size-fits-all recommendations—she believes in crafting personalized nutrition plans that honor each individual’s unique needs, history, and goals. In today’s world—where nutrition information is abundant but often conflicting—Jackie aims to demystify the science and biology behind nutrition in a way that’s clear, practical, and easy to digest (pun intended). She believes in partnering with her patients rather than acting as an authority figure, fostering a collaborative relationship that leads to greater long-term success, empowerment, and satisfaction.
Jackie received her Bachelors of Science at the University of California, Berkeley in Nutritional Science, Dietetics where she graduated top of her class. She then completed her dietetic internship at the University of California, San Francisco. She spent the past four years as an inpatient and outpatient dietitian at Stanford Health Care, where she gained extensive clinical experience working with complex patient cases and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams. Inpatient, she provided care for patients in all clinical units including ICU, surgery, medicine, oncology, neurology, cardiology, and gastroenterology services. Outpatient, she worked in the Digestive Health Clinic and provided care for patients with a variety of complex gastrointestinal conditions including IBS, SIBO, gastroparesis, Crohn’s Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, altered bowel movements, and nutrition support (enteral and parenteral nutrition). While at Stanford, she developed a reputation for delivering above and beyond care that was described by patients as the "perfect mix of humanity and science.”
Driven by a passion to expand her impact and bridge the gap between nutrition and medicine, Jackie left her tenure at Stanford to pursue medical school. She is currently a first-year medical student at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine, where she integrates her background in nutrition into her medical education and clinical practice.
Jackie specializes in providing medical nutrition therapy for gastrointestinal conditions, digestive health, cardio-metabolic health, weight management, weight gain, and improving one’s relationship with food. She uses a non-diet approach, and will work with you to make realistic, meaningful changes to improve both your physical health and quality of life.
