A bit about my professional background: I earned my Bachelor's degree in Dietetics from the University of Maryland, College Park, followed by a clinically-based dietetic internship at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. After a decade of experience in the field, I completed my MS in Healthcare Management from Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. My certifications include Weight Management for Pediatrics & Adults, Health & Wellness Coaching, and Integrative & Functional MNT. I’ve had the privilege of working in various settings—ranging from one-on-one outpatient care and medically supervised weight management programs to community nutrition outreach.

On a personal note, I’m originally from Baltimore, MD, but now call sunny San Diego, CA, home, where I live with my husband, two young children, and our two energetic dogs. I love spending time outdoors, whether it’s exploring the mountains or relaxing at the beach. I’m a big fan of Peloton workouts as a busy mom and a lifelong exercise enthusiast. I also enjoy having fun in the kitchen experimenting with healthier dessert recipes to help quench my insatiable sweet tooth!

When we begin working together, our first session will focus on getting to know you. I’ll ask about your health history, goals, current and past approaches to nutrition, and lifestyle factors. Understanding your story helps me tailor our sessions to meet your needs. We’ll cover evidence-based educational materials, set SMART goals, create personalized meal plans, and discuss supplements if needed. After each session, you’ll receive a follow-up email summarizing key takeaways, additional resources, and a reminder for our next meeting. I will always meet you where you are, without judgment, and help you incorporate change at your own pace.
