I am bilingual in English and Spanish. I became a Registered Dietitian in 2016 and earned my certification as a specialist in pediatric nutrition in 2019. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics, and a Masters in Dietetic Studies.
I have experience working in a variety of settings such as hospitals, clinics, home health, and telehealth services. I provide personalized nutritional care for individuals across all ages—from infancy and childhood to adolescence, adulthood, and older adults. I have the knowledge, experience, and skills in managing a range of medical conditions including gastrointestinal, neurological, renal/dialysis, cardiac, mental health, autoimmune disorders, pulmonary, genetic disorders, food allergies/sensitivities, malnutrition and nutrition support.
My primary expertise lies in pediatric nutrition, where I guide parents and caregivers through the complexities of infant and child nutrition, feeding milestones, growth, and development.
"I strongly believe in using food as medicine and integrating alternative or holistic strategies, when appropriate, to complement Western medicine treatments. I provide evidence-based guidance to ensure the most reliable and effective plan of care. I support my clients in taking an active role in their health decisions and goals, fostering long-term success. "
