Xyomara Beltran, RDN, MA, CHES, LDN, MBA, CPC, CFNIP is a Board-Certified and Licensed Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with over 22 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Professional Coach. She received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Human Nutrition, Food and Exercise from Virginia Tech and completed her Dietetic Internship at New York-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center. Additionally, she completed a Master of Arts in Health Education at Teachers College, Columbia University, and her Healthcare Executive MBA at the University of Miami. She is also a Certified Health Educator Specialist (CHES), Certified Professional Coach (CPC) and Certified Functional Nutrition Informed Professional (CFNIP). She has practiced as a Registered Dietitian at the Virginia Hospital Center, New York Downtown Hospital, and Mercy Hospital and Jackson Health System. She also further developed her clinical skills and leadership skills by working as a Clinical Nutrition Manager, Senior Manager Clinical Area Support, and Regional Clinical Nutrition Manager.
Xyomara continues to enhance her knowledge and skills by undergoing training in Functional Medicine to become a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner (CFMP) and by taking a Course in Nutrigenetics and Nutrigenomics and Immunology. In addition, she is working towards a certification to become a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional (CIMHP) and a Hypnosis Practitioner.
Xyomara became a dietitian to help her clients feel empowered to achieve optimal health, improve their relationship with food, and live more fulfilling lives. Xyomara was influenced by her own personal experience with trauma to learn about trauma centered care and how to apply it with helping her clients make dietary and lifestyle changes using a holistic approach to health. She has worked with clients with different trauma experiences including medical treatment trauma and has helped them to reconnect with their body innate self-care knowledge.
