Whether you’re navigating medical conditions, seeking a non-diet approach to weight management, looking for a holistic path to disordered eating recovery, or ready to truly end emotional eating for good, you have come to the right place. It’s time to stop blaming yourself—and start paying attention to what’s really shaping your choices. The stressors, triggers, and unseen factors influencing your behaviors and that may be causing you to have a less-than-desirable relationship with food.
Here's what one client had to say about working with me: "Working with Tanya has been the best experience I have had with any health care professional. She takes the time to get to know you and your unique circumstances. She has a breadth of nutritional knowledge and always has more than one strategy for tackling a particular goal. I feel supported without judgment."
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in dietetics. I am a registered dietitian nutritionist and licensed dietitian, as well as a certified integrative mental health professional who specializes in behavior change through wellness culture development, lifestyle well-being integration, and nutrition therapy using lifestyle as medicine solutions that help my clients leave diet culture behind and find success using mindful and intuitive strategies to manage weight and maintain health.
I am also the author of a mindful eating and exercise journaling book entitled "The Mindful Me Journey: A 40-Day Guided Journal Toward a Healthier Relationship with Food and Exercise," an Amazon #1 new release now reaching international distribution. I use this tool to help many of my clients end chronic dieting and disorder by understanding the four facets of eating and activity to learn how to bridge the gap between diet culture and intuitive eating.
I am humbled to have my work noticed by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP), which selected me as Top Nutritionist of the Year 2025. I have also been fortunate to receive recognition as one of the EliteX Transformational Women in Healthcare 2024 as a leader paving the path to lasting health transformation. In 2023, I also received a Health 2.0 Conference Visionaries Award.
I was an accomplished and acclaimed athlete in high school and college. For my three-sport high school success, which included four appearances at the OHSAA State Track and Field Meet and a high jump record held for over four decades, I was inducted into the Greenville High School Athletic Hall of Fame. The icing on the cake was being recognized for success at the collegiate level and inducted into the Mount St. Joseph University Athletic Hall of Fame for achievement in volleyball.
My husband Scott and I have been married for over 35 years, and we have two grown, married children who live nearby. We love spending time with our granddaughter, family, and friends, and working on home improvement projects. I have recently joined the pickleball craze and enjoy the low-impact activity and social fun.
I am passionate about helping people live healthy, purposeful lives. I look forward to connecting with new clients and helping them reach their weight and health goals.
My nutrition therapy is grounded in lifestyle medicine and sustainable behavior change—not diets. I work with clients as whole people, exploring how stress, routines, relationships, environment, and beliefs around food shape health. Together, we build a supportive wellness culture and practical skills that align choices with values and health needs. I support medical condition management, non-diet weight care, and holistic recovery from disordered eating.
