Hi! I'm Daniela Roggio, a Registered Dietitian based in NYC. I'm originally from Puerto Rico and lived in Miami for school before moving to NYC. I am fluent in both English and Spanish. My educational path, a B.S. in Psychology and an M.S. in Dietetics and Nutrition, is no accident. I intentionally merge the science of food and the psychology of behavior, and this holistic approach is at the very heart of my practice.
I believe true health begins with understanding the powerful connection between what you eat and how you feel. Food is one of the most important choices we make daily, directly impacting your energy, mood, and long-term health. I don't just focus on what you eat; I focus on the why behind your choices.
Beyond general weight management and wellness, I provide specialized support for individuals managing Diabetes (Type 1 and Type 2), Pre-diabetes, Hyperlipidemia, Hypertension, and chronic kidney and liver diseases, along with digestive disorders (IBS, IBD, and GERD). I also offer focused support for women's health specific nutrition needs and comprehensive obesity management, including bariatric care and GLP-1 therapy.
My approach is centered on you. I provide evidence-based recommendations by integrating your medical history, lab results, and food diaries to create a personalized plan that supports your nutrition, habits, and supplementation needs.
