Background

Registered Dietitian • Certified Personal Trainer • Behavioral Change Specialist

Hi, I’m Mary! — and I’m so glad you’re here.

If you’re like many of the women I work with, you’re smart, driven, caring and so ready to feel good in your body again — but after years of diets, rules, putting others first or chasing perfection, you don’t even know where to start.

Trust me — I get it.

Because I’ve lived it.

My Story: From Obsession to Freedom

Fitness and nutrition have always been huge parts of my life. I grew up playing competitive sports, and by high school, I was being recognized at the state and collegiate level for my athletic performance. But behind the medals and muscle, I was silently struggling.

For much of my adolescence and into early adulthood, I battled with disordered eating, obsessive exercise, and a deep fear of not being “enough”, no matter how many recognitions I received, A’s I got, or weight I lost. My days revolved around calories, restriction, food rules, step counts, workouts, and chasing a body I thought would finally make me feel confident and happy. But no matter how much weight I lost or how “in shape” I looked, the emptiness was always there.

It wasn’t until I went through intensive therapy that I began to truly heal. I started rebuilding my relationship with food, with mindful movement, and most importantly — with myself. That journey changed everything. And now, my mission is to help you experience that same kind of freedom.

My Mission

I believe every woman deserves to feel comfortable, confident, and empowered in her skin — without extremes, guilt, or all-or-nothing thinking. I’ve made it my life’s work to guide women through the confusing world of health and fitness with a smart, simple, and personalized approach that actually sticks.

No more yo-yo dieting.

 No more punishing workouts.

No more second-guessing every bite or battling your reflection.

Instead, we focus on sustainable strategies, compassionate coaching, and evidence-based practices rooted in nutrition, movement, and lifestyle transformation — all tailored to you.

My Credentials

I bring both professional experience and real-life understanding to every coaching relationship:

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) – Bachelor of Science in Nutrition & Dietetics, Marywood University

Licensed Dietetic Nutritionist (LDN) - OR, IL, AZ, VA, CA

Certified Personal Trainer - NASM

Behavioral Change Specialist

Group Personal Training Specialist

Diabetes Certificate of Training

Chronic Kidney Disease Nutrition Management Certificate of Training

Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certificate of Training

I’ve worked in clinical settings, fitness studios, group coaching, and 1:1 transformation programs. I’ve trained women of all ages and abilities, helping them take their power back from food, stress, and shame — and learn to actually enjoy the process of becoming stronger and healthier.

A Life in Motion

After years in the traditional clinical world right out of college, I packed up my things and moved across the country to South Lake Tahoe, California in search of something more aligned with my goals— nature, movement, adventure, and purpose. I wanted to work with people on a more intimate level, all the while allowing myself with autonomy over my time to live life in the fullest!

Since then, I’ve fallen in love with life outdoors: rock climbing, hiking, Spartan races, sailing, skiing, beach days and living a bit like a nomad; (I even lived on a sailboat for 2 years!) All the while able to continue my passion of helping others reach their full potential, a stronger, healthier, happier version of themselves. A version they were always meant to be. Currently, I reside in San Diego County just 1 block from the beach where the quaint beach town is always bustling with active people. These experiences fuel my belief that health isn’t about shrinking your body — it’s about expanding your life.
