As a realistic dietitian, I believe that all foods can fit into a balanced lifestyle. Nutrition doesn’t have to
feel restrictive or overwhelming — it should be enjoyable, practical, and tailored to your life. My goal is
to guide you on a journey that feels positive, stress-free, and even fun, while also helping you build the
confidence and knowledge you need to reach your health goals.
I specialize in a wide range of nutrition and wellness areas. Whether you are working toward weight
loss, navigating diabetes or pre-diabetes, lowering cholesterol or blood pressure, managing an eating
disorder or disordered eating patterns, dealing with food allergies, or seeking guidance during
pregnancy and postpartum, I have the tools and expertise to support you. Every person is unique, and I
approach each client with a personalized plan that reflects their lifestyle, preferences, and health
needs.
During our sessions, I use a variety of treatment modalities and counseling techniques depending on
what will serve you best. These may include meal planning, accountability support, motivational
interviewing, elimination diets when necessary, strengthening the mind-body connection, practicing
mindful eating, incorporating meditation, and encouraging exercise and movement. My approach is
flexible, compassionate, and always grounded in science. The goal is not just to make changes but to
create habits that you can realistically maintain long-term.
I hold a Master of Science in Medical Biology and Nutritional Science, and I bring more than 20 years of
experience as a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with a
diverse range of clients, from those managing chronic illnesses to those seeking overall wellness. I
make it a priority to stay current with the latest evidence-based research and professional training so
that every client benefits from the most up-to-date, effective strategies available.
Outside of my professional work, I value creativity and relaxation. One of my favorite hobbies is acrylic
pour painting, which I often finish with a glossy resin coat. It’s a therapeutic outlet for me, and it serves
as a reminder that health and wellness are about more than just food — they also include finding joy
and balance in everyday life. I also like to share a lighthearted family anecdote that always makes
clients smile: despite my training and expertise, my family doesn’t always take my nutrition advice
seriously. In fact, my father once insisted on seeing a friend of mine for dietary counseling instead of
me — even though I had the same knowledge to offer!
My decision to become a dietitian was driven by compassion and a desire to help people live healthier,
happier lives. I’ve always loved food, but I knew I didn’t want to work in a hot kitchen or spend
weekends and holidays behind the stove. Dietetics gave me the best of both worlds: the ability to
combine my love for food with the clinical side of patient care. What keeps me passionate after more
than two decades is knowing that this work truly makes a difference — and that no matter what,
nutrition will always be relevant, because everyone needs to eat.
"My approach as an RD is rooted in honesty, realism, and a down-to-earth attitude. I genuinely care about my clients' well-being and strive to make nutrition practical and sustainable for them."
