We’ll review your medical history, talk about what truly matters to you in your health journey, and work together to identify meaningful goals. From there, we’ll create an action plan tailored to your lifestyle. After each session, you’ll leave with clear, practical steps to help you move closer to your nutrition and wellness goals.
I have experience helping people meet weight-related goals, manage diabetes, and improve overall health through nutrition. My strong background in plant-based nutrition comes from both professional study and personal experience – I’ve been a vegetarian for over 20 years and was vegan for 15 of those. I integrate the principles of Health at Every Size and Intuitive Eating, embracing an anti-diet, compassionate approach that helps clients reconnect with their body’s natural hunger and fullness cues. My focus is on overall well-being, which includes not only nourishment but also joyful movement and fulfillment in everyday life.
I earned my dietetics degree from the University of Kentucky in Lexington and have worked in adult acute care and long-term care, including rehabilitation and memory care settings. I’ve provided education and counseling to a wide range of adults with conditions such as heart failure, chronic kidney disease, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. Through these experiences, I’ve seen how powerful nutrition can be in improving – and, in some cases, reversing – health conditions.
When I’m not counseling clients, you can usually find me bike-packing with friends, experimenting in the kitchen with new vegetarian recipes, or playing with my cat, Mia.
I’m continually inspired by how food intersects with so many parts of our lives – health, culture, community, and joy. I became a dietitian because I’m passionate about connecting with people and helping them use nutrition as a tool for living more vibrant, fulfilling lives.
