Hi, I'm Hannah!
I know what it feels like to it across from a doctor and feel overwhelmed, unheard, and unsure where to start. That's why my approach is different -- I lead with empathy, compassion, and lived experience, so you feel supported every step of the way. Together we'll use evidence-based strategies to create realistic, sustainable changes that support your health and well-being.
I have a strong background working with clients managing cardio-metabolic conditions, and I'm currently expanding my expertise into gastrointestinal health. Motivated by my own experience with IBS and SIBO, I am pursuing specialized training through the Monash FODMAP program and SIBO academy, to better serve clients with digestive concerns.
I earned my degree in Nutrition Science and Dietetics from San Francisco State University and completed my clinical training at Napa State Hospital. As an RDN, I've had the privilege of supporting patients in both medical and mental health settings.
My decision to become a dietitian is deeply personal. I've lived with chronic digestive conditions myself, supported my dad through his cancer treatment, and walked alongside my sister during her recovery from mesenteric artery syndrome. These experiences fuel my passion to provide care that is empathetic, nonjudgmental, and most importantly, hopeful.
Outside of work, you'll often find me in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes or wandering through a farmers market for inspiration. I love creating gut-friendly recipes that are both nourishing and delicious!
"My approach is compassionate and client-centered -- I view you as the expert of your body while I serve as a guide, coach, and support system. Using motivational interviewing techniques and evidenced-based care I meet you where you are and empower you to succeed."
