My interest in nutrition bloomed while I was struggling to perform in my early years of university. I realized that my routines and health behaviors were not supporting my academic goals nor the lifestyle I sought, and I yearned for the tools to change my path. I began learning about nutrition and started fueling my body with a significantly improved dietary pattern, which improved my energy, focus, and motivation to achieve goals. I shifted my course of study to dietetics and never looked back. Since then, I have developed an expansive knowledge of nutrition and how to apply the principles of nutrition and dietetics for the purpose of achieving health and lifestyle goals. I have helped many people achieve their own goals, ranging from weight loss/gain to reduction in IBS symptoms. An avid learner, my approach to nutrition care involves staying up-to-date on the latest evidence-based interventions and aligning with patients on a plan that will work best for them.
