Background

I am a registered dietitian with 11 years of experience and a deep passion for the power of nutrition. I’ve always believed that the daily choices we make profoundly shape how we feel—mentally, physically, and emotionally. That belief began at age 12, when I noticed how dramatically my energy and performance at swim practice changed depending on what I ate. The difference between a donut or pop-tart and a balanced breakfast sparked what would become a lifelong passion: recognizing that nutrition is truly medicine.

This passion only grew stronger early in my career when I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition. Through intentional lifestyle and nutrition changes, I was able to bring it into remission—an experience that deepened my commitment to helping others feel their best through sustainable, evidence-based nutrition.

My clinical background includes diabetes care, autoimmune conditions, chronic condition management, weight concerns, and mental health–related nutrition. Beyond my professional experience, I’m also a mom of two young boys (ages 2 and 4), which gives me firsthand appreciation for the realities of busy family life. I stay active with regular workouts and getting outside whenever possible - no matter the Chicago weather, and I love cooking and baking for my family—because food is medicine, but it’s also love
