Amber Jones, RD, is a registered dietitian with a strong academic and clinical foundation in nutrition science and community health. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Texas Woman’s University (TX) and a second Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Delta State University (MS), where she also completed her supervised dietetic internship. Her professional experience includes dialysis care and community nutrition through WIC, giving her insight into both complex medical nutrition needs and public health-focused care.
She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Integrative Nutrition at Bastyr University (WA), expanding her training to include a more holistic and systems-based perspective on health.
Clients working with Amber can expect a collaborative and personalized experience. She partners with each client to develop goals that are meaningful, realistic, and attainable within their unique lifestyle. During sessions—and through secure messaging between visits—she provides thoughtful, individualized responses and ongoing support. Questions are welcomed. Education is clear and practical. Adjustments are made as life shifts.
Amber sees the entire person, not just a diagnosis or nutrition concern. She understands that health is influenced by culture, environment, stress, identity, access, and lived experience. As someone who grew up in a military family and lived in many different places, she relates easily to people from diverse backgrounds. She believes cultural diversity is a strength and intentionally incorporates culturally responsive, client-centered care into her practice.
Outside of clinical work, Amber runs a successful DJ business and is deeply immersed in music production. She enjoys rollerskating, outdoor activities, and is currently training for her first 10K race. She loves trying new foods, especially Asian, Spanish, and Mediterranean cuisines; and is an animal lover who shares life with her 5-pound Yorkie, Lauryn.
Her personal commitment to movement, creativity, and nourishment informs the grounded, real-world lens she brings to her work.
My approach blends Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) with intuitive eating principles. I provide evidence-based care for medical conditions while helping clients step away from cyclical dieting and body shame. Together, we build sustainable habits that support weight stabilization, metabolic health, and peace with food. My care is culturally responsive, client-centered, and focused on the whole person, not just a diagnosis.
