Fay Provider Attendance Standards

Effective August 1, 2026

The Provider Terms of Service Agreement has been updated to incorporate Provider Attendance Standards. Please see below for full details.

Why Attendance Matters

Patients come to Fay seeking timely, reliable nutrition care at moments when they are motivated to improve their health. When providers miss or are late to appointments, it can disrupt care, weaken trust, and lead patients to disengage or delay treatment.

Consistent attendance ensures patients can reliably access care and supports stronger outcomes, continuity, and engagement across their care journey.

Attendance Expectations

Providers are expected to:

  • Attend all scheduled appointments
  • Join sessions on time
  • Notify patients promptly if running late, rescheduling, or canceling
  • Contact Fay Provider Support if technical or operational issues arise

Violations

The following are considered attendance violations:

  • No-show: Missing a scheduled appointment without reasonable notice in advance
  • Excessive tardiness: Joining more than 10 minutes after the start time without advanced notice

Accountability Framework

Violations are tracked on a rolling 12-month basis:

Providers will be notified in writing each time a violation is recorded, including their current standing.

Exceptional Circumstances

We recognize that emergencies or unexpected events may impact attendance, including personal or family emergencies and unforeseen technical issues. Providers should notify providers@faynutrition.com as soon as reasonably possible in these situations so we can support appropriate resolution.

Our Commitment to Providers

We aim to support providers in delivering excellent care while maintaining clear, consistent standards across the platform.

We are committed to:

  • Setting clear, transparent expectations
  • Providing tools and support for success
  • Communicating issues early and clearly
  • Applying standards consistently and fairly
  • Partnering with providers to resolve challenges

We encourage providers to proactively raise concerns or barriers so we can address issues before they impact patients.
