What You Can Expect
When you work with me, you’ll find a supportive, judgment-free space focused entirely on you—your needs, your pace, and your goals. My patient-centered approach starts with truly listening to your unique situation—your schedule, challenges, and priorities. I identify hidden obstacles, tailor strategies to your lifestyle, and use proven teaching methods to make healthy changes clear, practical, and achievable. I also use tools to check comprehension, anticipate roadblocks, and ensure new habits fit seamlessly into your real life.
My Focus Areas
I specialize in lifestyle-related conditions such as prediabetes and diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and obesity. I also guide clients through sustainable weight loss, improved heart health, and better everyday eating habits. For those seeking more structure, I provide highly customized meal planning through the professional-grade EatLove platform. Whether you need medical nutrition therapy or simply balanced, practical guidance, I design nutrient-dense, enjoyable plans tailored to your health goals, schedule, and preferences.
My Credentials
I hold a Master of Arts from Moscow Linguistic University, plus a Master of Education and Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Louisiana Tech University. My career began in education, teaching Spanish and Russian in high school, before I transitioned to clinical nutrition—where I’ve served for over two decades as a hospital-based dietitian. One of my proudest accomplishments is developing our hospital’s Certified Self-Management Diabetes Education Program, which continues to benefit patients today. I also founded NTTY Meals, a successful healthy weight loss meal program, and am now completing my comprehensive, hybrid-style program Nutrition Fusion for Fat Loss.
Personal Side
Originally from Russia, I’ve made the U.S. my home. Outside of work, I love cooking—especially with my two teenage boys, who share my passion for healthy eating—as well as staying active through regular workouts. I also enjoy creating educational tools and resources that make healthy living simple, practical, and fun. My teaching background allows me to break down complex nutrition concepts into manageable steps that clients can confidently use in their everyday life.
Why I Do This Work
With heart disease and cancer in my family history, I’ve always been determined to find the most effective ways to prevent chronic illness—for my loved ones and for those I serve. Since my teenage years, I’ve been fascinated by how food can shape long-term wellness, and I’ve always had a passion for caring for people and protecting their health. After moving to the U.S., I discovered my second passion—teaching—and realized how perfectly it complemented my love of nutrition. That dedication inspired me to create a private practice offering individualized guidance, professional expertise, and quality tools to build lasting habits. Over the years, I’ve seen how unrealistic dietary expectations can cause stress, confusion, and even trauma. My goal is to help people avoid that harm—especially busy parents and professionals—so they can stay healthy, vibrant, and able to show up fully for their families, coworkers, clients, and everyone who depends on them—without sacrificing their own well-being.
"With 25+ years as a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, I take a personal, empowering approach that fits your busy life—at your pace. My strong teaching background and program-writing expertise let me turn complex concepts into simple, practical steps. I deliver highly individualized care, clear strategies, and steady support to help you achieve lasting results without stress."
