Shelley Slavens, RD

I have been an RD for 25yrs and working in the healthcare industry for 30yrs.

I completed my dietetic internship at Saint Louis University where I also initiated my Masters degree in Clinical Nutrition. I completed my Masters degree in Clinical Nutrition at the University of Kansas.

I’ve worked in multiple areas: long-term-care/ acute hospital care/ outpatient doctor office across 3 states (Oklahoma/ Kansas & my home state of Missouri.

I love to talk & learn new things to share with my patients.

I am a lifetime fan of the Kansas City Royals and Chiefs teams!

Enjoy reading & working in my yard. 

I have an adorable King Charles Cavalier puppy dog named Jasper & a Ragdoll cat named Bella (& she is fiesty!)

I have an 18y/o son who is starting college in the Fall studying to be a Precision Machinist.
