Hello! I'm honored you're thinking about choosing me as your dietitian. I am currently taking the Institute of Functional Medicine course to become a certified practitioner, so I can learn more about the root cause of disease and not just address symptoms. I use a food and lifestyle approach, meaning we will first investigate your diet, exercise, how you handle stress, and sleep and work together to optimize those factors, and then add in supplements and order labs as needed. I am also a certified personal trainer and enjoy finding exercise that is sustainable, enjoyable, and helps you reach your health goals.
I live in Cheyenne, Wyoming where I love the cold (yes, you read that right), cross-country skiing, and great hiking. I enjoy learning and so I am frequently taking some extra courses so I can learn more about nutrition and the human body. In my free time, I enjoy trying to cook recipes from other cultures, crocheting, and being outside. A fun fact about me is that someday I would love to learn how to dance. I’m thinking maybe swing dancing or learning a waltz.
When you work with me you will receive a comprehensive nutrition plan sent within 48 hours of the initial appointment which includes a summary of the appointment, a personalized food plan, a brief lab review if you brought labs, any recommended products/ supplements, a guide booklet of basic nutrition, and if requested an exercise plan. I am available for patient messages and questions Monday- Saturday. I strive to create an environment where you can freely share your health history and relationship with food so we can form a trusting partnership where you get what you need from every appointment.
