Hi, I’m Ru Caulkins, a registered dietitian (RD, LDN) with over 15 years of experience in nutrition and health education. I’ve worked in hospitals, long-term care, public health, and higher education, supporting individuals from infancy to older adulthood. I hold both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in nutrition and dietetics and currently serve as a program director and professor at a university in North Carolina.

My approach is compassionate, individualized, and rooted in real-life experience. I believe nutrition is personal and deeply connected to your story—your past, your culture, and your goals. I listen without judgment and work alongside you to build a path that supports your full well-being. Outside of my professional life, I’m a proud mom to two boys and passionate about wellness. I love walking, stand-up paddling, reading, cooking, and being outdoors. These activities keep me grounded and remind me of the joy in caring for both body and mind.
