Hello! My name is Prin, and I'm very excited to work with you! Regarding my educational background, I earned my BS in Nutritional Sciences from The Pennsylvania State University (Penn State, go Nittany Lions!) in May 2020, while also earning a minor in Psychological Sciences. I then went on to earn my Masters of Professional Studies degree from Penn State University in August 2022. Since starting my first full time position in November 2022 to present, I have been working in long term care/skilled nursing, focusing on the older adult population. In terms of extracurriculars, I was also previously involved with the DC Metro Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as Treasurer-Elect and Treasurer, as well as the Penn State Nutrition and Dietetics Alumni Society as Communications Chair.
In terms of expectations, I would like my clients to come with an open mind, a willingness to learn, and a desire for fruitful, candid conversations. Our sessions will be a two-way conversation, and I will listen with compassion and empathy.
In my spare time, I am an avid lover of singing and was involved in choir for around 12 years. I am a countertenor (a man who can sing in a similar range as a female alto or mezzo-soprano), and enjoy learning music ranging from the Renaissance era to contemporary! I enjoy spending time with my wife, cat, and dog, as well as cooking delicious dinners for her every day.
As a relatively new dietitian, I am continuously looking to expand my experience and expertise, and am excited to embark on this new and exciting adventure with Fay. I look forward to working with you!
