I am an enthusiastic performance dietitian-nutritionist and fitness professional combining master-level credentials with 20 years of experience empowering clients to create healthy, active, and sustainable lifestyle behaviors that promote well-being and longevity, prevent disease, and optimize peak performance. I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) board-certified as a Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD), personal trainer (ACSM-CPT), yoga teacher (RYT), and Wellcoaches Health and Well-being Coach (CHWC). I facilitate behavior change by addressing "Whole Person Health" with evidenced-based lifestyle choices. I earned my B.S. degree in Human Nutrition and Food Science, while earning championship titles as a Division I collegiate athlete and founding member of the West Virginia University Women’s Rowing Team (1999-2003), then successfully completed the dietetic internship and Master of Science degree program in Clinical Nutrition at Rush University in Chicago, IL (2003-2005). I developed my coaching skills by studying coaching psychology and working in a variety of settings, including human research labs, hospitals and healthcare clinics, universities, fitness gyms, an employee wellness center, and most recently a performing arts college program. I am highly trained in translating the science of Lifestyle Medicine into sustainable actionable steps, utilizing a Shared Decision-Making Process to support your autonomy and self-efficacy. Personally, I enjoy traveling, rowing, paddle-boarding, open-water swimming, cycling, renovating properties, reading, studying Geology, painting, gardening, cooking with a "plant slant," and photographing the beauty of the present moment.
