I’ve been a Registered Dietitian for about 10 years, with the majority of my experience in outpatient nutrition. Outpatient care is where my passion lies because I love building meaningful relationships with my clients and creating a supportive environment where trust, collaboration, and individualized care can thrive.
I began my career as an RD in a weight management clinic before transitioning into eating disorder care, where I eventually became the manager of an eating disorder clinic. I have been specializing in eating disorders for approximately 10 years. Through this experience, I’ve learned how important it is to understand not only what someone is eating, but also their relationship with food, their body, hormones, and the behaviors, thoughts, and experiences that influence eating. I believe this understanding is essential to treating the whole person.
In addition to eating disorders and disordered eating, I work with a wide range of nutrition concerns, including diabetes, PCOS, weight management, pediatrics, cardiovascular disease, and gastrointestinal conditions such as IBS and GERD, as well as many other chronic health conditions. If you have a specific nutrition concern, please feel free to reach out - I’m always happy to discuss whether I may be a good fit for your needs.
I also work per diem at a skilled nursing facility, where I provide nutrition care for individuals experiencing malnutrition, weight management concerns, dysphagia, nutritional deficiencies, and other nutrition-related conditions.
Outside of work, I enjoy trying new restaurants (I am a foodie!), cooking and baking, playing basketball, spending time on Cape Cod, running, and most importantly, spending time with my loved ones.
I look forward to getting to know you, working together, and supporting you on this important step toward prioritizing your health and overall well-being. Congratulations on taking this step towards small sustainable changes, taking care of yourself and your well being!
I combine evidence-based nutrition therapy with an empathetic, trauma-informed and weight-inclusive approach. I treat each client individually based on their own needs and what works best for them. I meet each client where they are, working at a pace that respects their readiness and resilience, while challenging them when needed and appropriate.
