I have my Master of Public Health in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of South Florida. My experience as a registered dietitian has taken me from the bedside at our region’s only level 1 trauma center, to outpatient nutrition and behavior change counseling, to chronic kidney disease, dialysis, and transplant nutrition management. Currently, I serve my community through community engagement, evidence-based nutrition courses, and fun lectures.
For more than a decade, I’ve been teaching my favorite group fitness classes, and through working with people from all walks of life, I’ve learned that we truly are all individuals. There is no one workout, diet, or lifestyle that reigns supreme; the best one is the one that works for you.
You’ll also want to know that my favorite food is pasta, specifically rigatoni. Why? Because it’s delicious, hard to mess up, and easy to incorporate into a busy day. I’m all about quick and easy shortcuts!
"My approach to nutrition is about finding that balance between what we want and what we need for our health. You are just as unique as your plate, and that deserves respect! I want to form a team with my clients for us to tackle issues together. This means sharing a space that is safe, judgement-free, and realistic. No two people eat exactly the same way, so you can expect a session where we discuss your specific likes, dislikes, comfort foods, cultural preferences, and lifestyle choices."
