Welcome to the beginning of your new nutrition journey! My name is Maryam Nalbandian and I am a Registered and Licensed Dietitian who LOVES food, the brain, and the body. My path began when I discovered the world of sports nutrition—I didn’t even know it was a career until I started exploring ways to combine my love for performance, health and food. As I studied at Arizona State University (Forks up!), I became fascinated by how intricately our bodies work and gained a new appreciation for my own. I knew I had found my calling.
Since graduating in 2020, I’ve worked with a variety of sports teams and helped hundreds of athletes reach their goals. But my passion for nutrition grew beyond sports. Seeing friends and family face health challenges reminded me how powerful nutrition is for everyone—not just athletes.
Now I help individuals of all ages and backgrounds build a healthier, more balanced relationship with food through a holistic, personalized approach to nutrition. Whether you're managing weight, navigating food allergies, exploring lifestyle changes and health challenges, or working to improve athletic performance, I offer compassionate, evidence-based support tailored to your goals.
My specialties include sports nutrition, weight management, food sensitivities and allergies, lifestyle changes, and overall wellness. I blend traditional nutrition science with a broader view of health, integrating lifestyle factors like sleep, movement, stress, and mindset.

And a little about me: I’m a proud cat and snail mom (yes, really!), and I absolutely love hunting down the best foodie spots in every city I visit. I believe food should be joyful, not stressful—and that philosophy shapes everything I do as a dietitian.
