I received my bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition at the University of Alabama. My first year out of college, I led nutrition services at a skilled nursing facility. I then joined St. Vincent's as an acute care clinical dietitian. The majority of my clinical nutrition experience involves patients with cardiovascular disease who have required open heart surgery and are looking to develop diet and lifestyle changes to improve their heart health. In addition to this, I have experience providing medical nutrition therapy to bariatric surgery patients, patients with altered gastrointestinal function, diabetes, kidney disease, and more. There is nothing I love more than helping my patients reach their goals and understand the ways in which different foods affect their body!
"I am a registered dietitian with years of experience in providing medical nutrition therapy to patients with different diseases including but not limited to diabetes, cancer, kidney disease, gastroparesis, cirrhosis, and heart disease. Whether you are looking to learn more about nutritional guidelines for a certain condition, or you are just looking to improve your overall quality of life with nutrition and hit your health goals, I am here to help you!"
