My approach to nutrition is rooted in compassion and curiosity, ensuring that each individual receives personalized care that respects and honors unique cultural foods and preferences.
From the initial visit, I provide evidence-based nutrition education and recommendations in a way that is both easy to understand and flexible to your learning style, making concepts easy to understand and goals that can evolve with your circumstances. By utilizing motivational interviewing techniques, cultural sensitivity, and SMART goals, I empower you to take charge of your health and wellness while maintaining your traditions.
Together, we’ll foster a supportive environment that allows you to confidently navigate your nutritional journey and achieve your health goals.
About me, I grew up in the Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil as the child of ranchers. Surrounded by the rich traditions of a gaucho lifestyle, my culinary roots were ignited by festive cookouts and family gatherings centered around food and fire. This upbringing not only taught me Spanish and Portuguese but also instilled in me a deep appreciation for Latin American flavors and culinary heritage.
When I moved with family to Miami as a teenager, my passion for traditions around food blossomed even further in this cultural melting pot. The diverse culinary backgrounds I encountered deepened my love for flavor and cooking.
I was also fortunate to spend a year living in Puerto Rico during my dietetic internship, where I immersed myself in the local culture. The warmth of the island’s people and their culinary traditions enriched my understanding and respect for Caribbean cuisine and flavors.
In my leisure time, I enjoy playing a variety of sports, particularly outdoor activities like soccer, basketball, tennis, beach volleyball, and surfing. I love working with clients of all activity levels, aiming to integrate optimal nutrition with performance to help them reach their goals.
I’m excited to share my passion for achieving optimal nutritional health while maintaining traditional foods and culture!
