Approach to Nutrition Therapy
If you're exhausted by counting, tracking, and the constant food noise that won't quiet down, you're in the right place. My approach to nutrition therapy is compassionate, individualized, and rooted in the belief that you can be healthy at any size. Together, we'll build sustainable habits, create a positive relationship with food, and rediscover the joy of eating—focused on feeling good, not on the number on the scale.
Background
I take a whole-person view of wellness because your relationship with food is shaped by far more than what's on your plate. Your physical health, mental well-being, cultural background, lifestyle, and the realities of your daily life all influence how and what you eat—and any plan worth following has to account for all of it.
While my nutrition philosophy is plant-focused, I work with clients from all walks of life and take pride in fostering an inclusive, affirming environment for everyone.
I firmly reject diet culture and weight stigma, and I'm committed to helping you redefine what health looks like on your own terms—focused on energy, vitality, and supporting your body's natural ability to thrive.
Our first session together is a relaxed, collaborative conversation. Come with a sense of what's brought you here—whether that's a specific health concern, a goal you've been circling for a while, or simply a feeling that something needs to shift. We'll review your medical history together, along with any lab work or biometrics you'd like to share and take a thoughtful look at your relationship with food, the patterns you've noticed, and the barriers that have gotten in your way. By the end, we'll have shaped one or two short-term goals you can start working toward right away—no overwhelming meal plans, just a realistic, sustainable starting point we've built together.
When I'm not working with clients, you'll usually find me with my hands in the garden, in the kitchen developing plant-based recipes, or hiking trails across New England. I'm still learning my way as a gardener, and honestly, that's one of my favorite things about it. Staying rooted in the soil and the seasons keeps me humble, keeps me curious, and reminds me that every wellness journey—mine included—is one of growth.
