Maria Seitz, RD

Hello! My name is Maria Seitz and am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and NASM Certified Personal Trainer specializing in disordered eating, eating disorders, and sports nutrition. I help my clients implement gentle and flexible nutrition principles that support their health, performance, and lifestyle goals.  My approach prioritizes building a healthy relationship to food, movement, and yourself, as this is foundational to your nutrition!

I attended the University of Michigan where I received my Bachelor of Science in Biology. Go Blue! I received my Master of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition from Rutgers University.  I have 4 years of experience working with eating disorders and have worked with athletes ranging from recreational to professional.

My passion comes from a personal history of relearning what a healthy relationship with food and movement looks like. This experience led me to my career where I can help others do the same. I work with clients at all stages of recovery and all levels of sport. I also work with many clients on general nutrition, medical nutrition therapy needs, and more!

I spend most of my free time with my husband and our daughter, running with my border collie, watching sports, reading, and hanging out with family and friends over yummy food!
