I'm Lucinda Pate, a Registered Dietitian who loves helping individuals with nutrition. I'm from Virginia and earned my degree in nutrition in state at James Madison University. I later completed my dietetic internship at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia. Since then I’ve moved back to my home state. I've gained valuable experiences in various settings, including a year of clinical care at Ruby Memorial Hospital. I’m excited to continue to use those experiences to support people in reaching their goals.
As a Registered Dietitian, my goal is to offer evidence-based, personalized nutrition care. Whether you're seeking guidance for managing a health condition, improving your overall wellness, or simply learning to enjoy food without guilt, I strive to provide practical, sustainable solutions that fit your lifestyle. I focus on promoting balanced, realistic eating habits and fostering self-compassion.
I’m passionate about simplifying the world of nutrition and helping individuals break free from the confusion surrounding food. My drive comes from a desire to empower others to take control of their health through balanced, enjoyable eating habits. I believe in a supportive and compassionate approach, where progress—not perfection—is celebrated.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active by hiking, cooking, and exploring local coffee shops. I often experiment with different recipes to try new ideas.
"I believe in a personalized, understanding approach to nutrition, helping clients build a healthy relationship with food that supports both physical and emotional well-being. By focusing on sustainable habits and listening to your body’s needs, I’ll work with you to create a realistic plan that fits your lifestyle. Together, we’ll celebrate progress, not perfection, and empower you to feel confident in your choices."
