Koryn Artis, RD

Hi, I’m Koryn Artis—a Registered Dietitian with a passion for helping people thrive through personalized, evidence-based nutrition care. My journey into dietetics began at Texas Southern University in Houston, TX, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences and Dietetics. I went on to complete a combined dietetic internship and master’s degree in Nutrition and Human Metabolism  at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. During that time, I gained hands-on experience in a variety of settings, including NASA, organ transplant units, pediatrics, and more.

I started my career working in adult nutrition, supporting individuals with chronic conditions like diabetes, kidney disease, and heart-related issues. Currently, I specialize in pediatric nutrition, working with children from birth through adolescence who are managing complex health conditions. I also support parents and caregivers with formula mixing education, tube feeding (enteral nutrition), IV nutrition (parenteral nutrition), and feeding challenges. I’ve had the privilege of working with patients facing eating disorders as well.

My approach to care is all about meeting people where they are. I believe in listening first, understanding each person’s unique needs, and building trust through compassion and collaboration. As I continue to grow in my career, I remain committed to ongoing education so I can provide the best possible care to every patient I work with.
