Katleya Baldazo has a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration and a Master of Science in Nutrition from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. She completed a Graduate Study on Eating Disorder & Obesity from Northern Illinois University. She obtained a Certificate in Training of Childhood & Adolescent Weight Management.
Katleya has had 16+ years of experience in clinical nutrition. Her experience spans from pediatric to geriatrics: including orthopedic, mental health, dialysis, bariatric, enteral feeding, meal planning, and long-term care. She has provided education in one-to-one setting and in groups. She worked as an adjunct instructor at College of DuPage and for a not-for-profit program that services overweight/obese children by teaching varying nutrition topics to encourage healthier eating habits.
Katleya’s goal is to use her expertise in food and nutrition to help clients improve their eating habits and to meet their health goals. Her philosophy is “Healthy eating does not have to be about being strict. It is about having good planning and strategy. It is about knowing when to say yes to salad and when to say yes to fries.”
