Hello! I’m Jazzmin Hardaway, a Registered Dietitian with over two years of experience in clinical nutrition, specifically within skilled nursing facilities. My work is grounded in a passion for helping individuals not only understand the science of nutrition but also learn how to apply it in ways that fit their lifestyle, cultural preferences, and health goals. I truly believe that nutrition is a powerful tool for improving quality of life, and my mission is to guide patients toward sustainable, meaningful changes.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Nutrition with an emphasis in Culinary Medicine from the University at Buffalo, as well as a Bachelor's in Nutrition and Dietetics from San Francisco State University and an Associate's in Health Science from Pacific Union College. My academic journey has fueled my drive to combine the science of nutrition with the art of food, bringing both evidence-based knowledge and practical culinary solutions to the table.
When you work with me, my goal is to offer a holistic approach—one that not only addresses your dietary needs but also helps you understand why those changes matter. I take great pride in providing education that is clear, accessible, and rooted in compassion, whether I’m working with patients, families, or healthcare teams. It’s about building trust and fostering a partnership that supports your long-term health goals. I’m passionate about food as both an essential part of well-being and a cultural experience. I’m a firm believer that food is more than just fuel—it’s also a source of connection and creativity. Outside of work, I enjoy being in nature, testing out new recipes, and seeking out new experiences.
What drives me is the opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s life through nutrition. Whether it’s by helping someone manage a health condition or simply empowering them to eat more mindfully, the work I do is both personally and professionally rewarding. I’m committed to continued growth, learning, and finding new ways to improve care through the integration of culinary medicine and clinical nutrition.
