Jackie Schneider, MS RD LDN/CDN is a Registered Dietitian and the founder of private nutrition practice Well Up Nutrition. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Pennsylvania and completed a Master’s Degree in Clinical Nutrition at New York University. She completed her clinical training through NYU at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in clinical nutrition, community nutrition, and food service in acute, long-term, and outpatient settings, with concentrations in medical nutrition therapy for oncology and cancer treatment, renal disease, liver disease, diabetes management, cardiovascular disease, post-surgery care, weight-loss, weight gain, allergies/sensitivities, and food-drug interactions.
Jackie has worked with a variety of clients in many different settings and has extensive experience counseling men, women, and teens with health concerns ranging from cardiovascular disease, GI health, renal issues, and weight loss to fertility, diabetes, hypertension, and more. In addition to her private outpatient practice here at Well Up Nutrition, she is employed by Baptist Health South Florida and manages acute-care patients in the Clinical Nutrition Department.
In addition to medical nutrition therapy and nutrition counseling, Jackie also works in K-12 schools as a Nutrition Educator. In addition, she presents workshops and lectures to businesses, universities, and community organizations and writes articles, content, and programming for companies and media outlets. Prior to obtaining her degree in Nutrition, Jackie worked in Marketing and Human Resources for white shoe law firms, global media outlets, and consumer companies like Johnson & Johnson. Jackie relocated back to her home state of Florida from New York City and is thrilled to be home near family, friends, and of course, the beach!
