Background

Many of my clients come to me feeling frustrated because the strategies that worked in their 20s and 30s no longer seem to work. They may be struggling with weight gain, low energy, changing hormones, poor sleep, digestive concerns, difficulty building or maintaining muscle, or simply feeling disconnected from their health. Others are looking to improve athletic performance, optimize body composition, transition to a plant-based lifestyle, or develop a healthier relationship with food.

As a Registered Dietitian with more than 23 years of experience and a certified Pilates instructor, I take a practical, evidence-based approach to nutrition that focuses on helping you achieve measurable results while building habits that fit your real life. My goal is not to put you on another restrictive diet. Instead, I help you develop a sustainable plan that supports your health, energy, performance, and long-term goals.

I have a special interest in women's health, including perimenopause and menopause. During these transitions, many women notice changes in body composition, appetite, sleep, recovery, energy levels, and metabolism. Together, we focus on strategies that support healthy aging, including adequate protein intake, strength-supportive nutrition, blood sugar balance, sleep optimization, stress management, and maintaining lean muscle mass. My background as both a dietitian and Pilates instructor allows me to understand the important connection between nutrition, movement, recovery, and overall wellness.

I also work with clients seeking support for weight management, sports nutrition, thyroid health, PCOS, digestive concerns, plant-based nutrition, and developing sustainable eating habits. I believe nutrition recommendations should be individualized rather than based on trends or one-size-fits-all plans. Every client brings a unique history, lifestyle, medical background, preferences, and goals to the table.

Our work together is collaborative. Rather than handing you a meal plan and sending you on your way, I help you identify realistic changes that fit your lifestyle. We review your current habits, challenges, schedule, health history, lab work when appropriate, and personal goals. From there, we create a plan that feels achievable and sustainable. My clients often appreciate that I combine science-based recommendations with practical coaching and accountability.

I understand that nutrition information can feel overwhelming and contradictory. My role is to help you cut through the noise and focus on what matters most. Whether your goal is improving your relationship with food, supporting hormone health, increasing energy, improving athletic performance, losing weight, or simply feeling more confident in your choices, I strive to provide guidance that is realistic, supportive, and grounded in evidence.

Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals from many different backgrounds and stages of life. I believe lasting change happens when nutrition supports your life rather than controlling it. Together, we'll focus on building habits that promote long-term health while still allowing flexibility and enjoyment.

If you're looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and practical partner to help you navigate your nutrition journey, I'd love to work with you.
