Background

I’m Dana Hoch, MS RD CDN (everyone calls me Aderet), a Registered Dietitian supporting women and families through all stages of life - from preconception and fertility to pregnancy, postpartum, and long-term health. My approach blends science-backed nutrition with mindset, lifestyle, and real-life flexibility, so eating supports your health, hormones, and daily life in a way that feels realistic and sustainable.

When we work together, you can expect a supportive, non-judgmental space focused on progress - not perfection. I help clients move away from rigid food rules, guilt, and start-stop cycles, and toward consistency, confidence, and trust with food. Sessions are practical and collaborative, with an emphasis on education, habit-building, and creating systems that actually work in real life.

My focus areas include:

-Fertility and trying to conceive

-Metabolic and endocrine conditions, including PCOS and endometriosis

-Weight management and disordered eating

-Pregnancy, postpartum, and family nutrition

I work with many women who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from their bodies - and are ready for a more compassionate, sustainable approach.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition, Food Studies, and Public Health from NYU and a Master of Science in Nutrition Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, with experience in both clinical and private practice settings.

On a personal level, I believe food should be nourishing, enjoyable, and shared. I’m passionate about women’s health, seasonal eating, sustainability, and supporting local food systems. Outside of work, I love being outdoors, exploring food culture, and - of course, never skipping chocolate dessert.

I became a Dietitian to help people feel at peace with food while still caring for their health. My goal is to help you feel informed, supported, and empowered, so nutrition becomes a foundation for your life.
