Background

A quick note about availability: You may notice that only limited appointment times are showing on my schedule. This does not reflect my full availability. I have additional appointment times available that are not currently displayed here.

I’m Marie Rogers, RDN, LDN, a licensed Registered Dietitian in Missouri, Illinois, Washington, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and Iowa. I earned a BS in Human Environmental Science with a focus in Food and Nutrition and have experience in clinical care, hospital teams, and private practice. My work has given me experience supporting people with a variety of health concerns while helping them better understand the connection between nutrition and overall health.

Having navigated my own health challenges, including hormone imbalances, digestive issues, and cancer, I understand how complex and personal health journeys can be. These experiences have shaped my desire to help people become informed, confident advocates for their own health.

I’m passionate about nutrition education and creating practical resources that make nutrition easier to understand and apply. I’m the author of a digestive-health e-cookbook and am currently working on two additional books focused on nutrition. I also develop educational courses and enjoy testing and creating recipes in my kitchen.

My strong faith in Jesus guides my compassion and dedication to each person I serve. Outside of work, you may find me kayaking, taking road trips, reading, or exploring something new in the kitchen.

Approach

My approach is science-based and whole-person, drawing on personalized nutrition, traditional food practices, and real, nourishing foods, plant or animal. I believe health is bigger than a number on a scale and there is no one “right” diet. I don’t start with weight loss as the primary focus. Instead, we look at the bigger picture, address underlying factors, and use nutrition and lifestyle strategies that support health. These efforts may also support less reliance on medications.
