Background

Hello, I'm Casey. I have been a Registered Dietitian for 3 years. I received my Bachelors in Dietetics from Western Illinois University and completed my Dietetic Internship and Masters in Nutrition and Wellness at Bradley University.

I have experience in menu planning, meal preparation, providing general nutrition education, and teaching cooking skills. I have worked with many individuals with nutrition related conditions including food allergies and sensitivities, celiac disease, cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal conditions, and malnutrition. I have worked with many age groups from children to older adults who come from many economic and cultural backgrounds.

My goal as a Dietitian is to help my clients find feasible and sustainable solutions to their nutrition related struggles through a client centered approach.

In my free time, I like to spend time with my family and friends, collect houseplants, garden, read good books, learn new things or skills, do any kind of craft, travel, and eat excellent food at great restaurants. I don't think I've met an animal I didn't like. Currently, I have two cats a male domestic short haired named Cheshie and a female medium haired tuxedo named Mittens. My favorite wild animal is a giraffe. I think the best zoos are ones where I get to feed a giraffe.

I am looking forward to meeting you and helping you on your journey to better health and wellness through nutrition.
