I went back to school in 1995 to get a Masters' Degree in Human Nutrition after I discovered food can heal the body. 

The science is clear that medical nutrition therapy is effective for slowing the progression of chronic kidney disease (CKD). Plant-based diets have been shown to help slow the progression of CKD and delay the time to dialysis. I use a functional nutrition approach that utilizes supplements to support your kidney health.

I’ve helped hundreds of people slow their CKD, preserve kidney function and delay dialysis using customized nutrition therapies. 

For the last 20 years, I’ve been coaching kidney patients 1-on-1, providing personalized nutrition plans, encouraging accountability, and educating on the science of food and nutrition to improve your quality of life.

Through her virtual nutrition services at Tampa Nutrition Therapy, Batina brings her discipline and knowledge through personalized nutrition programs.
