My name is Anne, and I have been a registered dietitian for over 8 years. I have worked, and continue to work, in cardiac rehab and in sports nutrition.
As a dedicated dietitian with specialized experience in sports nutrition and intensive cardiac rehabilitation, I am passionate about helping individuals optimize their health and performance through evidence-based nutrition strategies. I have worked with diverse populations, from athletes striving to enhance endurance and recovery to cardiac patients requiring careful dietary management to support healing and long-term heart health. My approach combines clinical expertise with personalized care, ensuring that each individual receives practical, sustainable guidance tailored to their unique goals and medical needs. I am committed to empowering clients to make informed nutrition choices that improve both quality of life and overall well-being.
I have spent the past few years working with the Ornish program for Intensive Cardiac Rehab, which focuses on a low-fat, plant-based diet for heart health, along with lifestyle changes such as exercise and stress management.
In my spare time, I am an enthusiastic tennis player, playing on multiple USTA teams in New Jersey. Being a former college tennis player is one reason I decided to pursue my Master's degree in sports nutrition. I really enjoy working with people to help them utilize nutrition to support their athletic goals.
Often, people know what healthier eating means. The issue they have is how to actually start making those changes- and how to make those changes permanent. I like to work within the framework of a client's current eating habits to make small, sustainable changes a little at a time. That way, clients don't get overwhelmed with too many changes all at once, and they are more likely to stick with the dietary changes.
