My name is Anne, and I have been a registered dietitian for over 7 years. I have worked, and continue to work, in cardiac rehab and in sports nutrition.
For cardiac rehab, I have spent the last few years working with the Ornish program for Intensive Cardiac Rehab, which focuses on a low-fat, plant-based diet for heart health.
In my spare time, I am an enthusiastic tennis player, playing on multiple USTA teams in New Jersey. Being an avid tennis player is one reason I decided to pursue my Master's degree in sports nutrition. I really enjoy working with people to help them utilize nutrition to support their athletic goals.
"Often, people know what healthier eating means. The issue they have is how to actually start making those changes- and how to make those changes permanent. I like to work within the framework of a client's current eating habits to make small, sustainable changes a little at a time. That way, clients don't get overwhelmed with too many changes all at once, and they are more likely to stick with the dietary changes."
