Get to know me:  I've been in the field of nutrition for 15 years, receiving both my undergraduate and graduate degrees in human nutrition. I've worked in the inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. Areas include Pediatrics (inpatient/outpatient), sports nutrition, Diabetes, cardiac rehab, bariatrics, nutrition support, long-term care, and veteran care. I’ve spent time as a public policy representative for multiple states at local and state levels. I have a passion for public speaking. I’ve taught cooking classes to all ages, in the school systems, and at the Children’s Museum Edible School Yard for the Farm to Table program.  

I am a Certified Diabetes Care & Education Support specialist, currently working as an advanced practiced dietitian in this area. I have been a part of diabetes camps, diabetes symposiums, educating school personnel on having a student with diabetes, and hosting diabetes education booths at health fairs. I’m trained in continuous glucose monitoring setup, troubleshooting, and interpretation of blood sugar patterns. 

Personals: I am an athlete at heart. You could say I’ve was in sports long before I was in nutrition. I have been blessed to have trained under/learn from Olympic champions, world champions, state champions, and record setters. I am a wrestler, boxer, and world powerlifter. Newly exploring the world of gardening, agriculture, and natural healing. 

Drive: No one has come into my office and said, “I just love being sick”. I am driven to help clients get to a place of sustainable wellness. I’m all about helping you regain your quality of life!
