Amy Winstead, RD

Hello! My name is Amy. I'm a registered dietitian nutritionist with over 10 years of experience in both the inpatient and outpatient settings working with patients of all age groups (premature infants through older adults). My areas of expertise include chronic kidney disease, gastroenterology (gut health- including GERD, IBS, and short bowel syndrome), disordered eating, and general nutrition.

Building a supportive relationship with you is my primary focus. This involves active listening in a safe and non-judgmental space. Our first session will be a relaxed discussion, which allows me to learn more about you and your health history. We will concentrate on your most critical concerns to help identify both short and long term health goals. I recognize that life has it's challenges. I utilize an individualized approach to help you set realistic goals that stick! I'm excited for our first visit together and look forward to supporting you on your journey to a healthier you!
