Background

Hi! My name is Aidsa (pronounced AH-EED-SAH) but most people call me Itzy. I am a Board Certified and Licensed Registered Dietitian, and proud owner of Nubali LLC. I completed my Bachelor of Science degree at Keiser University in Melbourne, Fl and clinical internship at VA Orlando Health Care. My areas of expertise are in weight management, pre-diabetes and diabetes, renal, eating disorders, oncology, and IBS. In 2020 I became a clinical dietitian during the heart of the pandemic specifically working in the ICU, PCU, and oncology units. However, I have always had a heart to help clients outside of the acute care setting which is where I feel I have the most impact. My approach is to be wt inclusive, guide clients to make behavior changes that most importantly help build a healthy relationship with food and can bring about long-term success. I consider myself empathetic and understanding of each individuals specific nutritional concerns and obstacles. I too have had my own nutrition related struggles and continue to work on them regularly. For fun, I enjoy playing pretend with my 2 year old son Noah, being outdoors as much as possible, going to the gym, and singing. I know how difficult it can be to find the time, motivation, and discipline to make healthy choices, which is why my ultimate goal is to help you find the balance between nutrition and life.

Fun facts:

I adopted a cat that unknowingly was born on my exact birthday

I don't have a middle name

I climbed an inactive volcano in Costa Rica that is no longer legal to hike.
