I am registered with the Commission of Dietetic Registration in the USA and the College of Dietitians of BC in Canada. I have a Master of Science degree in human nutrition and a Bachelor of Science degree in dietetics from the University of British Columbia. Since becoming a dietitian in 2009, I have worked several years in a hospital setting and in private practice. During my university years, I worked as a weight trainer and spinning (indoor cycling) instructor and rowed with the UBC varsity rowing team. I currently live near Seattle, WA and enjoy running, yoga, and cycling.
I am a mother of three boys and an author. I value home-cooking, mindful eating, and body positivity. As a dietitian, I enjoy working with individuals motivated to improve their health and I feel honored to help them work toward their nutrition goals.
"My clients like how I help them find realistic strategies to achieve their goals. I take an integrated approach, considering medical history, nutrition knowledge, lifestyle, and relationship with food. I work to meet my clients where they are at, nurturing trust in themselves while sharing my expertise and providing motivation and accountability. I tend to focus on the positives and aim to leave my clients feeling empowered and confident with their ability to improve their health and wellness."
