Expectations: I help adults take charge of high cholesterol, high blood pressure, prediabetes and type 2 diabetes, and sustainable weight management — with a plan that's realistic, doable, and built around your actual life, not a template.
You can expect a deeply personalized experience that starts with listening. Every client is unique, so my first step is to truly hear your story and your challenges. I combine that insight with my clinical nutrition expertise to collaboratively build a plan that's sustainable and genuinely works for your lifestyle.
While my special focus is weight management, diabetes, and cardiometabolic health, my hospital background lets me support a much wider range of needs — heart health (CHF, cholesterol), gastrointestinal health (celiac, IBS, IBD, Crohn's), and more. Eighteen years in a demanding clinical setting taught me to make complex nutrition clear, practical, and doable.
Getting to Know Me: Beyond my work as a Registered Dietitian, I believe true health includes connection and joy. The most important thing in my life is my family — we prioritize eating dinner together every night and spending quality weekend time together. Being present for them is what fuels me.
I also have a joyful love of movement, whether that's resistance training, yoga, a long walk, or trying something new — like swimming in a hot spring on a chilly day. And I'm a passionate traveler; there's nothing more exciting than being at the airport with my loved ones, ready for a new adventure. Family, movement, and exploration all reinforce what I believe: a healthy life should be fulfilling and fun.
My Drive: From Passion to Private Practice - My path to becoming a dietitian started early. As a teenager, I discovered firsthand that eating well didn't just feel good — it felt invigorating. That passion for finding and adapting recipes eventually turned into a career.
After 18 rewarding years in clinical practice, much of it in a demanding hospital setting, I was ready for a change: a more flexible, personalized way to work. Building a remote private practice lets me step outside the hospital walls and reach a far wider range of clients, offering the highest level of care when and where they need it most — driven by the same passion I started with: helping you feel your absolute best.
I engage clients through real conversation and non-judgmental listening. My strength is 18 years of clinical expertise across the full range of nutrition needs, from hospital to home. Together we build a personalized plan — I provide expert guidance, you drive the change. I also support clients on GLP-1 medications: protecting muscle, staying nourished, managing side effects, and building lasting habits. My goal is your confidence and success.
