Summer Cherry, RD

I’m a proud graduate of Winthrop University and completed my dietetic internship. As a registered dietitian, I bring a unique combination of leadership, compassion, and real-world experience that sets me apart. I've served as a lead dietitian for two years in a skilled nursing facility, overseeing clinical nutrition services while supporting both patients and interdisciplinary teams. Prior to that, I worked in a variety of settings including WIC and acute care, giving me a well-rounded understanding of nutrition across all stages of life.

What sets me apart is my ability to connect. I believe nutrition should feel approachable, not overwhelming. Clients choose to work with me because I meet them where they are—creating realistic, sustainable goals rooted in empathy, evidence-based care, and their unique lifestyle. Whether you're managing a chronic condition, navigating a new diagnosis, or simply trying to feel your best, I’ll walk alongside you with support and strategy every step of the way.

Originally from Texas, I’ve moved often due to my father’s career, which taught me how to adapt quickly and connect easily with people from all walks of life. I now live in South Carolina with my fiancé and our two cats. When I’m not working, you’ll find me practicing yoga, going on long walks, traveling, or exploring new restaurants—especially if there’s dessert involved!
