Born and raised in California, I now call New York home—where I bring both my West Coast roots and my love for cultural exploration to my work in nutrition. Travel has always been one of my biggest passions, and I find inspiration in experiencing new cultures, especially through food traditions that bring people together. When I’m not working, you’ll often find me reading mysteries with a good cup of tea or baking a fresh loaf of bread in my kitchen.
With more than 15 years of experience as a registered dietitian, I’ve worked with adults across many areas of health, including kidney disease, transplant, cardiovascular wellness, weight management, and general nutrition. Throughout my career, I’ve learned that nutrition is never one-size-fits-all—it’s deeply personal, influenced by your lifestyle, values, and the relationship you have with food.
My approach is centered on collaboration and empowerment. Together, we’ll explore not just what you eat, but how food fits into your life, your goals, and your health journey. I use motivational interviewing to better understand your needs and help you uncover the “why” behind your choices. I also practice through a non-diet, Health at Every Size® perspective—recognizing that health is possible at every body size, and that lasting change comes from respect, compassion, and balance rather than restriction.
Whether we’re creating a practical meal plan, exploring strategies to improve your relationship with food, or addressing specific health conditions, my goal is to meet you where you are. I believe that nutrition counseling should feel supportive, not prescriptive. Together, we’ll focus on progress, not perfection, and find realistic steps that work for your unique lifestyle.
Most importantly, my hope is that our time together gives you the tools, confidence, and clarity to take charge of your health. By blending evidence-based nutrition with empathy and encouragement, I aim to guide you toward a healthier, more sustainable relationship with food and with yourself.
"I partner with you to create sustainable habits that foster wellness, confidence, and a healthier relationship with food, while also supporting you in effectively managing chronic conditions."
