Background

Hi, I’m Shayne, a registered dietitian with a Master of Science in Nutrition and experience in both hospital and outpatient settings. I take a root-cause, science-based approach to care with a focus on blood sugar, metabolic health, and how things like stress, toxins, and daily life can show up in the body. There is a lot of fear-based nutrition and misinformation out there and I am here to help you cut through the noise and figure out what actually works.

I specialize in helping clients navigate metabolic disease, longevity, relationships with food, and the often confusing intersection of nutrition, health, and modern life. I am especially passionate about blood sugar regulation and helping people understand how the environment around them, from food systems to chronic stress, can impact what is going on under the surface.

In our work together, we’ll look at how your food choices and daily habits are affecting how you feel, along with your bigger nutrition patterns over time. I come into these conversations with curiosity, not judgment. You don’t need to do this perfectly to make progress; you just need to get curious and deep a bit deeper!

I became an RD because I was tired of seeing conventional nutrition advice fall short. I wanted to take a more integrative approach that helps people prevent and manage chronic disease in a way that feels supportive and grounded in reality. Backed by science, yes, but also by real world experience and compassion.

When I am not working, I am probably making a mess in my kitchen, nerding out on PubMed, hiking, or buying things I do not need. I bring humor, honesty, and a no-nonsense mindset to this work. If that sounds like what you are looking for, I would love to work together.

Approach

I take a root-cause, science-based approach to nutrition that looks at the full picture: blood sugar, metabolism, and how things like stress, toxins, and modern life can show up in the body. My style is honest and compassionate, grounded in evidence, but always focused on what’s realistic. I help you understand your body and create a plan that’s personalized, practical, and built for long-term health.
