Hello!
I have been a Registered and Licensed Dietitian since 2015 and graduated with my bachelor of science degree in health sciences with a focus on nutrition in 2009. My career in nutrition started as an organic farmer on the islands of Oahu and the Big Island. I then spent 5 years working for the Florida Department of Health with a focus on Public Health and woman, infant, & child nutrition. Since then, I have gained experience in acute care, long term care, geriatrics, diabetes management, meal planning, weight management, prenatal, postpartum, and breastfeeding nutrition, as well as food allergy prevention.
I am passionate about finding what works best for each individual by allowing them to lead their own journey and providing support along the way with helping navigate the ever changing world of diet and nutrition and setting achievable goals. I will be your biggest cheerleader and will show empathy but also lots of encouragement.
I am a mother of two young children and a New Hampshire Native. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, baking, gardening, home renovation projects, and being outdoors with my children.
"Rebecca takes a whole health lifestyle approach to nutrition counseling, recognizing that what works for one person's lifestyle may not work for another. She honors each personβs values around food and health, taking into consideration that people are the experts on their bodies and that lived experiences are an important part of evidence-based practice. She takes a joyful approach to food and nutrition, focusing on skill building, stress reduction and mindfulness around meal time."
